If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I took my range rover sport in on February 9th for a coolant leak. They said I had to leave the car because it was not drivable and that the main part I needed was on back order. They guaranteed the part would be there in less than two weeks. When the two weeks were approaching, I called to confirm they were still on schedule, and they confirmed the part was already on the way. At two weeks I called because I hadn’t heard from them and the guy (Jorge) that answered the phone said that it was not true the part was on the way and that they didn’t know if and when they were going to receive the part. Finally, after three weeks and $2.6K, they claimed the car was ready to go. Considering the amount, I asked if I can see the “bad” parts but they wouldn’t show me. As I am leaving the shop, Nicole tells me that it’s not unusual for the customers to come back because there is a chance it will leak again. I guess she already knew they hadn’t fixed the coolant leak like they said. As she implied, 10 days later (March 9th) the coolant light turned on as the car was still leaking coolant. Although they say they guarantee their work they really don’t because they will tell you the reason for the coolant leak is completely unrelated to the coolant leak they “fixed” a week ago. To now fix the leak again, they charged another $246 to replace a hose they believe was causing the issue this time. On March 23rd, the coolant light turned on again for the third time. I called the shop and the guy (Jorge) that answered the phone said he wasn’t sure what else they can do about it, yet they supposedly guarantee their work. At this point I was curious to see what they said but had no faith in them and was not willing to give them any more money as they have clearly demonstrated they don’t know how to fix a coolant leak. Either way they didn’t offer to fix it. Therefore, I took it to Auto Tech Pinecrest that day. They did a thorough check on the coolant leak and noted the coolant bypass hose was the cause of the leak and needed to be replaced. They confirmed this was the cause of the original leak and that the other parts that Green’s replaced were not the issue. I was able to replace the hose for a minimal amount within 24 hours. I have driven the car for almost three weeks including a 500 mile trip and have had no other issues thus far. In addition, they had to drain out all the coolant because Green’s put the wrong coolant for my car which I had told Nicole when I saw it on the prelim invoice but they used it anyways. I would not recommend Green’s Garage given the fact they demonstrated they have no knowledge with Land Rover coolant leaks and defrauded me of almost $3,000.
Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and any frustration this situation may have caused. We’d like to first address your initial visit. While there was a delay in receiving the required part, this was due to it being on backorder, which unfortunately is outside of our control. As soon as the part arrived, we prioritized your vehicle and completed the repair as quickly as possible. At that time, we did recommend keeping the vehicle a bit longer so we could perform our standard quality control testing, especially given the nature of an overheating issue, where additional components can sometimes be affected. We always want to ensure everything is thoroughly checked before returning a vehicle, but we understand you preferred to take it at that time. Regarding your second visit, we made every effort to expedite the process, including personally picking up the part from the dealership to minimize any delay. We also want to sincerely apologize for your interaction with our former advisor. That does not reflect the level of service or communication we strive to provide. Please know that we stand behind our work and our warranty, and we would have been more than willing to address any concerns promptly had we had the opportunity. Our goal has always been to help and ensure your vehicle is safe and reliable. We would truly appreciate the chance to speak with you directly and work toward making this right. We did attempt to reach you and left a voicemail, please feel free to give us a call at your convenience so we can discuss how best to move forward and restore your confidence in us. Thank you again for your feedback.
