The process for replacing a hybrid battery is as follows, provided the 12 volt system is performing to specification, we do a full system scan including the Battery Module Controller to verify the HV fault as well as the ICE or non-hybrid control system to check for any command faults that may prevent the vehicle from going into Ready mode.

Next we perform a visual inspection for signs of water intrusion or any physical damage that would need to be remedied before replacing the hybrid battery. After confirming and replacing the hybrid battery we then update the HV ECU and main ECUs to latest software calibration using manufacturer software.
